What did you learn, experience, explore or think about this week which has to do with visual mapping, mind mapping or creating overview in your information?
Do share that with the rest of your mapping community.
For me this week, I got to know a number of very interesting people who work with mindmaps. I learned a lot from interacting with them and reading what they do.
And you? Let me know!

This website is, as you know, all about what you do by visual thinking & living and by using visual/mind maps. And what happens? All week long I give you my thoughts and tips on how to use mind mapping and visual mapping.
Today, we will do this a little bit different. Friday is from now on the “Your Week In Mind Mapping” day. This means you can share what you learned, did, experienced, found online, etc. Share your stories on this page with in your mindmap community.
For instance:
- you learned something new to use your mindmaps for
- you managed a project with a mindmap and reached your goal
- you created a book summary in a mindmap and like to show this
- you found a website which will help you in your visual thinking
- you ran into something in visual thinking/mapping which you like to learn more about
If you had one of the above or another experience, share it!
Here’s my biggest visual mapping accomplishment this week:
I created the outline of the new Mindmaps Unleashed training website and wrote the content of the first training (you know, the one on getting more FOCUS). This training starts in the first week of June (not on May 25 as mentioned first).
So now for you.
What do you want to share with the people in our community?

In this article, we have a look at some questions regarding mindmaps and the answers people usually give to these questions. Please think about the questions yourself as well. What are your answers to them?
This first part may be a little bit theoretical. I use this to get you to think about mindmaps and mind mapping, food for thought so to speak. The second part offers you practical tips on how to create and use the Perfect Mindmap.
For the sake of clarity, I create two groups of people who work with mindmaps. We have people who USE mindmaps and people who CREATE mindmaps.
Fortunately most people believe they use mindmaps. Unfortunately, most people are not what they think they are. This has to do with the way we are taught how to create mindmaps. I will explain more about this later on.
When you think about mindmaps in their purest form, what comes to mind?
