Please read first and then create your own opinion then. I believe we need to change the world of mind mapping and you and I are able to do this. Here’s why I write this and what we have to do:
Have you been listening to all these people who are stimulating left and right brain thinking and their use of mind mapping?

I received a question from a visitor who is part of our mindmap community. He told me that mindmaps without images are in fact more spider maps. That is true. The mindmap is a very visual overview of the information, filled with color and images.
Now how to find images for those words that are not easily transformed into an image (for instance love, smell, good)?

As you probably know, the traditional mindmap should be created using lots of colors. Use at least 3 to 5 different colors.
The centre of the mindmap is especially important. Tony Buzan writes in his books that the centre needs special attention. You should at least:
- create an image of your topic
- use 3 to 5 colors to draw the image in the centre
A question
My question for you is: Do you do this as well?
