The Mindmaps Unleashed Membership Program

Do you make mindmaps?

Are you ready to start using them to move forward?

Would you believe me if I told you that nearly all people who know how to mindmap just create mindmaps (and not really use them)? I am sure you believe me.

I trained many people in the art and science of mind mapping and visual thinking, both online as well as offline. During these training courses I always made sure to keep my eye on the result I wanted to accomplish.

Where most people create mindmaps, a lot less also use their mindmaps. While attending other training courses, I’ve never seen much (if any) focus on this part. In fact… this is the most important part of mind mapping.

This made me create the Mindmaps Unleashed website. I wanted to share some of my knowledge, thoughts and ideas with as many people as possible.

There are however people, just like yourself, who read the articles on the website but who want more.

They really want to start becoming more visual thinkers again.

They want and sometimes even need more focus and clarity in their lives.

It is for you that I created the Mindmaps Unleashed Membership Program.

What is the best piece of advice you can give a person to become successful?

I was listening to a Brian Tracy presentation. He said that people know everything they need in order to be successful. During a training he once did, he asked everybody in the audience to write down their piece of advice so he could create a booklet for all attending.

His thought that we all know what we need to be successful is so true. I know so many things to be more successful than I am right now. I speak with many people who all know what they need to do to be more successful.

Do you know what the sad thing is?

The goal of this website is not making you work to create mindmaps. You and I are interested in letting our mindmaps work for us. Still, in order to get them to work for you, you may have to spend some time familiarizing yourself with the basic process of mind mapping. That’s why I created this practical tutorial.

I will not discuss things like the orientation of your paper, details of creating branches, images & words, why the mindmap is so nice for your brain, and the numbers of colors you can/should/must use. All of this is discussed and explained in my e-book and by other people as well.

Having said that, here we go! Let’s have a look at the Process of Mind Mapping.

Last week we had a look at the mindmap showdown between mind mapping on paper and on your computer. Very interesting feedback, thanks a lot! It seems that most people are only using one of the two types of mapping information.

I have to admit that of my first 100 maps I created only 4 mindmaps on paper. These 4 were created during the training I took to learn how to mindmap and speedread. Then I arrived home after the training day and searched online for software tools.

Back then, there were not that many tools available. We didn’t have any online tools(right now I created my own online tool)! I downloaded a few of the tools and tested them. And you know what… the two tools I liked best then are the ones I still use.
