Mind Mapping And Focus – We’ve Only Just Begun!

by Arjen on June 11, 2009

Using your mindmaps is more than just creating mindmaps

You probably know that most people won’t go the extra mile (although there are hardly any traffic jams there :) ).

Unleashing your mindmaps goes miles beyond just creating and using mindmaps. The moment you unleash your maps, you are managing your information on a whole different level than before.

Let me explain this.

As you know, I am opening a membership training program soon. Next week, you will learn more about that special program.

The topic of the first private training in that membership will be unleashing your mindmaps to become more focused.

Here’s a short test

Right now, take any of the mindmaps you created. This could be one on paper but also on your computer. Have a look your mindmap. Answer me this question:

What does this mindmap show you?

If you are like most other people, you will probably say that the map gives you an overview of the topic of your mindmap, or it is a map that shows you information.

I believe this is just the first step in using a mindmap. When you really want to unleash your mindmaps, you definitely should join the membership program. There is so much more to gain from mind mapping for you!

Through this training you will be able to make your mindmaps more focused. You should not just create nice overviews (or even use them).

This is so important…

You learn to become a more focused person because of the mindmaps you create.

The focus part works both ways: Your mindmap will focus through your understanding of the system (which is important) and at the same time your personal focus increases through the maps you create.

I will let you know more beginning of next week.

Talk soon and remember to let your mindmaps work for you!
